8.1. The Customer may use the payment methods displayed during checkout.
8.2. Payments are processed using Shopify and the relevant payment-service providers.

9. Delivery
9.1. Deliveries are made to the destinations displayed and accepted during checkout.
9.2. Delivery costs and estimated delivery times are displayed before the order is completed.
9.3. The estimated delivery period begins after payment confirmation and excludes weekends and public holidays unless stated otherwise.
9.4. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by periods of high demand, stock shortages, public holidays, strikes, logistics disruptions, weather conditions or events beyond Junicoders’ reasonable control.
9.5. Junicoders will inform the Customer of any significant delay as soon as reasonably possible.
9.6. The Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate address and ensuring that the order can be received.
9.7. Costs arising from redispatch due to an incorrect address, repeated absence or failure to collect an order may be charged to the Customer where the circumstances are not attributable to Junicoders or the carrier.
9.8. The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party nominated by them other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
10. Inspection upon delivery
10.1. The Customer should inspect the external condition of the parcel when it is delivered.
10.2. If the package shows visible signs of damage, opening or impact, the Customer should, whenever possible, record this with the carrier and photograph the package.
10.3. Damage, missing components or incorrect products should be reported to info@junicoders.com as soon as reasonably possible.
10.4. The report should include the order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs of the product and packaging.
10.5. These recommendations do not reduce or exclude the Customer’s statutory rights.
11. Statutory right of withdrawal
11.1. For distance contracts, consumers may withdraw from the purchase of physical goods without providing a reason within 14 calendar days following:
a) Receipt of the product;
b) Receipt of the final product where one order is delivered separately;
c) Receipt of the final lot or component where a product is delivered in several lots.
11.2. To exercise this right, the consumer must clearly communicate their decision to info@junicoders.com, stating their name, order number and the products being returned.
11.3. The consumer may use the withdrawal form provided at the end of these Terms, although its use is not mandatory.
11.4. After communicating the withdrawal, the consumer must return the goods within 14 days.
11.5. During the statutory withdrawal period, the consumer may examine the product in the same way that would normally be permitted in a physical shop.
11.6. The consumer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and operation.
11.7. Unless Junicoders has agreed to cover them, or the product is defective, incorrect or damaged, the direct cost of returning the goods is payable by the consumer.
11.8. Junicoders will refund the payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered, within the applicable statutory period.
11.9. Additional costs resulting from the Customer’s choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.
11.10. Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise and does not incur any resulting fees.
11.11. Junicoders may withhold the refund until the returned goods are received or the consumer supplies evidence that they have sent them, whichever occurs first.
12. Commercial 30-day returns policy
12.1. In addition to the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, Junicoders provides a commercial extension allowing physical kits to be returned within 30 days after delivery.
12.2. Between days 15 and 30, this extension applies where the product:
a) Is complete;
b) Includes all components, accessories and manuals;
c) Is in good condition;
d) Shows no signs of misuse, forced assembly or damage;
e) Is returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible.
12.3. Return costs under this commercial extension are payable by the Customer unless stated otherwise.
12.4. This commercial extension does not limit rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
12.5. The commercial extension does not cover:
a) Personalised products;
b) Used or opened consumable components that cannot safely be resold;
c) Incomplete products or products damaged through misuse;
d) Gift cards;
e) Services, courses, workshops or events;
f) Digital content whose supply has begun under the legally required conditions.
13. Statutory guarantee and lack of conformity
13.1. Products sold by Junicoders benefit from the applicable statutory conformity guarantee.
13.2. Junicoders is liable for a lack of conformity that becomes apparent within the statutory period, currently three years from delivery of new goods to the consumer.
13.3. A product may be considered non-conforming where, among other circumstances:
a) It does not match its advertised description or characteristics;
b) It is not suitable for the use normally expected of such goods;
c) It does not include the advertised components or instructions;
d) It does not provide the safety and durability reasonably expected;
e) Digital elements required for its operation are not supplied or updated as agreed.
13.4. In the event of non-conformity, the consumer may be entitled to repair or replacement, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract under the applicable law.
13.5. The appropriate remedy will be determined according to the nature of the issue, proportionality, whether conformity can be restored and the applicable legislation.
13.6. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
a) Use contrary to the instructions;
b) Incorrect or forced assembly;
c) Drops, impacts, water, heat or an unsuitable power supply;
d) Unauthorised changes or repairs;
e) Normal wear of consumable components;
f) Lack of supervision where supervision was expressly recommended.
13.7. These exclusions do not apply where the damage results from a product defect, inadequate instructions or another circumstance attributable to Junicoders.
14. JuniLab and digital content
14.1. Some products may include access to JuniLab, videos, challenges, instructions, projects, quizzes, codes or other digital content.
14.2. The scope and duration of access are stated on the relevant product, course or plan page.
14.3. Login details are personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared outside the authorised household.
14.4. Where access is intended for a child, the account must be created or supervised by their parent, guardian or legal representative.
14.5. The Customer is responsible for having equipment, a browser and an internet connection compatible with the communicated requirements.
14.6. Junicoders may perform maintenance, security updates and improvements that result in temporary unavailability.
14.7. Where legally required, Junicoders will provide the updates necessary to maintain the conformity, functionality and security of digital content or services.
14.8. Access may be suspended in the event of:
a) Improper sharing of login details;
b) Attempts to gain unauthorised access;
c) Infringement of intellectual-property rights;
d) Use that compromises platform security or operation;
e) Failure to pay for a recurring service, where applicable.
14.9. Before permanently suspending access, Junicoders will normally inform the Customer and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue, except in urgent cases involving security or suspected fraud.
14.10. Where digital content not supplied on a physical medium begins during the withdrawal period, the consumer will be asked to provide prior express consent and acknowledge the legal consequences of early supply.
15. Gift cards
15.1. Gift cards provide credit that may be used for compatible products and services displayed on the website.
15.2. Following purchase, the code will be sent to the email address provided.
15.3. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the purchase date unless a longer period is stated on the purchase page.
15.4. The code must be kept secure. Junicoders is not responsible for unauthorised use resulting from the purchaser or recipient disclosing the code.
15.5. Where the purchase exceeds the available balance, the difference may be paid using another available payment method.
15.6. Where the purchase is lower than the available balance, the remaining balance may be used during the validity period.
15.7. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
15.8. After the statutory withdrawal period has ended, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise required by law.
15.9. For returns of purchases paid with a gift card, the corresponding amount will normally be restored to the gift-card balance or issued as replacement credit, without prejudice to the consumer’s statutory rights.
15.10. If an activity is cancelled by Junicoders, the Customer may choose between restoration of the balance, alternative credit or a refund through an appropriate method.
16. In-person courses
16.1. Registrations for children’s courses must be completed by the child’s parent, guardian or legal representative.
16.2. The age range, dates, location, timetable, duration, frequency, price, materials and included kit are displayed on the course page or registration confirmation.
16.3. A place is only secured after the information has been validated and payment confirmed.
16.4. For courses paid monthly, payment must be made by the date stated in the specific conditions.
16.5. Non-payment may result in suspension of participation after Junicoders contacts the parent or guardian and provides a reasonable opportunity to make payment.
16.6. Absence for reasons not attributable to Junicoders does not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund or replacement class.
16.7. When a class is cancelled by Junicoders, a replacement date, alternative class, equivalent solution or appropriate compensation will be offered whenever reasonably possible.
16.8. Changes to the classroom, schedule, venue or instructor may be made for operational, educational or safety reasons or due to circumstances beyond Junicoders’ reasonable control. Material changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.
17. Cancellation of courses
17.1. Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@junicoders.com.
17.2. The statutory right of withdrawal, where applicable, is not restricted by the following commercial cancellation rules.
17.3. Outside the statutory withdrawal right, cancellations made at least 14 days before the beginning of the course are eligible for a refund, less only the value of kits or materials already supplied and not returned.
17.4. After the course has started, classes already delivered and monthly fees already due are not refundable.
17.5. Where a course has been paid in advance, a proportionate refund for future classes may be issued, less the value of supplied kits and other individual costs clearly communicated before registration.
17.6. Prolonged illness, relocation or other exceptional and reasonably evidenced circumstances will be considered in good faith.
17.7. If Junicoders cancels the course, the Customer may choose a refund for undelivered classes, transfer to another group or credit where available.
18. Workshops, events and one-off activities
18.1. The specific conditions of each activity will state the age range, date, time, location, duration, price, materials, available places and participation rules.
18.2. Children must be dropped off and collected within the stated times.
18.3. Collection must be carried out by the parent or guardian or by another adult authorised in advance.
18.4. Junicoders may request identification from the adult collecting the child.
18.5. Junicoders is only responsible for supervision during the scheduled activity period unless a separate reception or supervision service has been agreed.
18.6. Allergies, medication, additional needs and any information relevant to the child’s safety and wellbeing must be communicated in advance.
18.7. In an emergency, Junicoders will contact the parent or guardian and, where necessary, the emergency services.
18.8. Participation may be interrupted if a child’s behaviour creates a serious risk to themselves, other people, equipment or the proper operation of the activity.
19. Cancellation of workshops and events
19.1. Cancellation requests must be sent to info@junicoders.com.
19.2. Without prejudice to the statutory withdrawal right where applicable, a refund will be provided where the cancellation request is received at least seven days before the activity.
19.3. Multi-day activities, holiday programmes or events involving prepared kits may have a different cancellation period, provided that it is clearly communicated before registration.
19.4. After the commercial cancellation period has expired, a refund may not be available unless an exceptional situation is accepted by Junicoders or a statutory right applies.
19.5. If an activity is cancelled by Junicoders, the Customer may choose between a full refund, transfer to another date or credit.
19.6. Where a material change of date, location or programme makes attendance impractical, the Customer may cancel and receive the corresponding refund.
20. Conduct and responsibility for equipment

20.2. Damage caused intentionally or through use clearly contrary to instructions may be charged to the participant’s parent, guardian or legal representative.

21.5. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting info@junicoders.com.
